Hiring Fire Protection Mechanics:
Competitive Conditions, Strong Team

At C.D. Fire Protection, we are not looking for people to « fill a position. »

We are looking for individuals who want to be part of a strong team, proud of their profession, united in action, and who prioritize quality—of work, relationships, and tools.

🔵 1. Pride of the Profession

Do you want to be proud of what you do? You’re going to be served.

The fire protection profession is about concrete, real, and serious work:
installing, maintaining, and ensuring the performance of systems that protect lives, buildings, families, and businesses. It is a specialized, recognized, and essential job.

Here :

  • You perform a skilled, useful, and respected profession.
  • You see the real impact of what you do.
  • You continue to develop yourself through continuous learning and a variety of interventions.

Don’t apply for a job. Expect a craft that you will be proud of.

🟣 2. Belonging: here, you are part of the gang

If you’re looking for a place where everyone knows each other by name, where we help each other, and where we respect one another — you’ve just found it.

At C.D. Fire Protection :

  • You are not a number.
  • We work together, we solve things together, we learn together.
  • We talk about real issues, with respect and transparency.
  • You can count on your team as much as they count on you.

Because when you are well surrounded, you give your best.

🟢 3. Quality of Materials, Tools, and Equipment

Nothing is more frustrating than trying to do a good job with bad equipment.

At C.D. Fire Protection, we take this seriously:

  • Reliable and comprehensive professional tools
  • Compliant safety equipment
  • Fast delivery of the necessary material and equipment
  • Maintenance, replacement, and continuous improvement
  • Top priority: your safety and efficiency
In January, we attended Power Up – Hilti Canada, an event completely dedicated to new technologies and innovation to help elevate worksite performance.

You will always know that your employer invests in you, because a job well done starts with well-chosen equipment.

Good news: certain profiles benefit from easier access to CCQ apprentice status

If you are :

  • a woman
  • a person from the First Nations or Inuit
  • or a representative of the diversity of Québec society

Certain CCQ measures can allow us to hire you more easily as an apprentice, even without a diploma, under certain conditions.

Specifically:

  • it’s a quicker entry point into the profession;
  • it’s a real opportunity to start a career in construction;
  • and it’s a clear advantage during the hiring process.

We want to hear from you

🎯 We are particularly interested in your application.
We want to meet you and see how we can work together.
